Here are our Frequently Asked Questions. If you don’t see your answer, use our contact form, and we’ll get right back to you.
Can I buy the calendar in stores?
You can buy online or find a list of store locations here.
Can I sell the calendar in my store/cart/etc?
We’re definitely looking for more retail locations and we have good terms. Use the contact form to get in touch about this!
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes. Please contact us using the Contact Form for details.
When do the calendars get discounted?
We don’t discount our leftovers. Instead, we sell them in bulk or donate them.
When do you stop selling the calendars?
We usually stop online sales at the end of January. Sales are pretty slow at that point.
How do I suggest an event/activity/photo location?
We love suggestions. Use the contact form.
Do you make calendars for other cities?
We have an Austin calendar as well. Until they build another city as great as Portland or Austin, we probably won’t be making one for another city. If you think your city might need one, you can use our contact form to let us know.
How do you decide where to donate?
We evaluate companies based on how well they relate to the mission of our calendar. If you would like us to consider donating to a particular organization, let us know via the contact form.
How do I get my event or activity listed on your website?
We only create a printed calendar. The events and activities you see on the website are what’s included if you buy the printed wall calendar. If you are looking for a place to submit an event that is in the next few weeks or months, these sites are great and free to post: portlandneighborhood.com, pdxpipeline.com, oregonlive.com, portlandmercury.com, and portlandbike.org.
How do I get my event or activity listed on your annually printed wall calendar?
We take submissions year-round, but keep in mind we need to know your date for next year by (roughly) the end of August the previous year. Use our contact form to submit ideas.
I have an issue with my online order, what do I do?
Use the contact form to tell us what’s up, and we’ll take care of it.
Do you use recycled paper? Is this “green”?
For the last three years we have printed on FSC-certified paper. We decided this after a lot of research. Amongst many other factors, FSC guarantees that the paper we receive does not come from used paper that has been shipped on a coal-burning barge to China, worked on by children in a chemical sweat-shop that dumps its bleach into rivers, and then ships “100% recycled” back to the U.S. Being recycled is not our goal – being responsible is. The FSC certifies from end to end that the economic, social, and environmental concerns and needs are being met responsibly. For more information on the FSC, see its site.
